Ingredients
  

4 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick)

Honey-soy garlic glaze
  • 3 tbsp honey For the sweet-savory glaze.
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce Adds salty depth to the glaze.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Minced for fast flavor infusion.
Seasoning
  • 0.25 salt and pepper to taste Season both sides; use to taste.

Method
 

Preheat and prep
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with foil.
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
Make the glaze and coat
  1. Mix honey, soy sauce, and garlic until combined.
  2. Brush the honey-soy mixture generously over each pork chop.
Bake until caramelized
  1. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes, then flip the pork chops and re-baste with the glaze.
  2. Bake 10–15 minutes more at 400°F until internal temperature reaches 145°F and the glaze is caramelized.
Rest and serve
  1. Rest the pork chops for 3 minutes, then serve immediately.

Notes

For best caramelization, keep the glaze coating thick and don’t skip the halfway flip and re-basting. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat gently in a 300°F oven until warmed through. Freezing is not recommended for best texture. If you want a lower-sugar option, use a sugar-free honey-style syrup in the same amount to keep the sweet glaze effect.
