Method
Preheat and prep
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with foil.
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
Make the glaze and coat
- Mix honey, soy sauce, and garlic until combined.
- Brush the honey-soy mixture generously over each pork chop.
Bake until caramelized
- Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes, then flip the pork chops and re-baste with the glaze.
- Bake 10–15 minutes more at 400°F until internal temperature reaches 145°F and the glaze is caramelized.
Rest and serve
- Rest the pork chops for 3 minutes, then serve immediately.
Notes
For best caramelization, keep the glaze coating thick and don’t skip the halfway flip and re-basting. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat gently in a 300°F oven until warmed through. Freezing is not recommended for best texture. If you want a lower-sugar option, use a sugar-free honey-style syrup in the same amount to keep the sweet glaze effect.
